Fantastic 3rd solo album by the king of reggae music! This is not as good as Running Free but comes very close. A must-buy for Ali fans!!
An absolute gem.....!!
This is an absolute gem...!! I bought, and enjoyed, both of Ali's previous solo albums but this record, in my opinion, propels Ali's solo efforts into another dimension. Whilst the two previous solo outings contained flashes of excellence, this record is a true collection of strong and inspirational songs which demonstrate Ali's strength and depth as a solo artist. Ali's songwriting and vocal talents are self-evident on this album from the very first listen - and from then on you are truly hooked and want to listen to this record time and time again. Reggae at its absolute melodic best. Stand out tracks are "Everways", "That's Supposed to Hurt" and "It's a Crime". UB40 may still have the brand name but Ali Campbell shows here that he truly was the heart and soul of the band. Buy it. You will love it..!!
BRILLIANT. ALI is FLYING HIGH
This is a true album that you can listen to from beginning to end and be thoroughly entertained by each and every song. Fantastic melodies, top-notch production, and of course Ali's golden vocals on the both the originals the covers make it a must have for any reggae fan. It appears Ali is on pace to release an album a year. Keep them coming Ali. I hope you come to the US for a few dates this year. We have been waiting to see you since you were last here with UB40.
Ali's voice is just getting better with age and the music is too
Fantastic cd,showing he is still going strong without ub40,his best solo album so far his voice is just amazing and the music is a good blend of reggae and dub with a hint of pop,if you buy this cd you wont regret it!!!!
